One solution was to crank the master volume on the aftermarket speakers and then set the voice guidance prompts to max volume. Since Google/Siri (and some other prompts) go through the center channel alone, they couldn't eliminate it properly. That center channel was a pain but that couldn't be known beforehand, given I don't think they've worked on this line of stereo before. Granted they didn't use straight up MLV and I have louder tires and it's a Honda. I might change my expectation of just how far sound treatment can go **against road noise**. This resolved a lot of my disappointment listening hifi tracks, and now things are great!

Thankfully this can be easily resolved by using the app "UAPP." It bypasses the Android OS and uses your phones DAC directly. In digital audiophile parlance, this means Android OS is not ‘bit-perfect’ with USB DACs." Android’s resampling even recooks CD-quality (44.1kHz) streams, upsampling them to 48kHz. A 48kHz stream isn’t passed through untouched but (instead) resampled to 48kHz.
A 192kHz stream will be downsampled to 48kHz. "Android smartphone users seeking to board the hi-res audio train via Tidal, Qobuz or Apple Music must mind the gap: Android OS resamples digital audio heading out of its USB port to 48kHz. If anyone plans on installing a new sound system to listen to hifi audio (FLAC, Tidal, etc.) with an Android phone in your Civic beware. If anyone can offer some advice or recommendations I'd be very grateful. I listen to a little of every thing so I don't know how much listing this helps: jazz funk, fusion jazz, nu jazz progressive rock/metal, math rock, kpop, post-hardcore, etc. I'm not sure how much that head unit is going to be limiting me, the best recommendation this far seem to be sound treating the panels, Morel Maximus 602 speakers and a $400 Morel amp (not sure of the model). I'm hoping to listen to high resolution files since it's capable of playing. What do you guys think I should do to maximize the audio experience with (preferably) around a 2.5k budget? Seems replacing that unit is out of the question since it integrates with some of the cars functions and maintenance. It gets pretty fatiguing to listen to at moderate volume.
